Tasks:

Quality Control Mindset: 

- Apply a quality control mindset to all tasks, ensuring attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

 - Actively seek out areas for improvement and make suggestions for enhancing quality standards.

- Demonstrate a corresponding understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 or similar standards. Specialized Inspection: 

- Conduct inspections in one or more specialized areas (welding, coating, outfitting & machinery, electrical) with in-depth knowledge and experience. 

- Independently execute inspections across various disciplines (welding, coating, outfitting & machinery, electrical) in accordance with ITPs. 

- Implement and verify the completeness of Inspection & Testing Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control (QC) procedures at supplier/subcontractor sites within specific project scopes. 

Team Collaboration & Communication: 

- Collaborate closely with team members to foster a cooperative and innovative working environment. 

- Assist in client/class inspection activities and follow up on issues at Huisman or supplier sites. Reporting & Documentation: 

- Prepare QC reports and assist in issue follow-up. 

- Review project manufacturer record packages to ensure the completion and traceability of quality documentation. Training & Mentoring: 

- Coach and mentor fellow QC surveyors with specific QC knowledge and/or inspection skills. 

- Share specialized knowledge and techniques with the team through training sessions, workshops, or one-on-one mentoring. 

- Introduce new inspection methods, tools, or technologies that can improve the team's Efficiency and Quality. 

- Participate in team meetings and discussions, offering insights and suggestions for process improvements. Compliance & Standards: 

- Familiarize with Huisman QC procedures, class codes/standards, and/or applicable EN/ISO/GB standards. 

Requirements ：

Education: College or above is preferred 

Experience: > 5 years QC experience is needed; 

Language: Good English in writing and verbal 

Certificate: VT-2 or CWI is preferred 

Others: Basic MS software skill
