Tasks

General

• Manages & leads the project team/project
• Focal point for internal organization, clients, authorities and third parties.
• Manage project budget, and cost saving opportunities.
• Reports and if needed escalates to the global PM and Project Director/Project board

Tender and Initiation phase:

• Supports tender process and contract reviews as requested
• Sets up/forms the project team & Organizes kick-off meetings/presentation
• Analyses/reviews contract, regulatory requirements, risks, opportunities, budgets etc.
• Develops and implements a project execution plan, including but not limited to:
• Planning, building sequences, contract deviation to standards, internal and external lines of communication, quality and SC plans, risk, issues and opportunities and cost saving strategies.

Execution phase

• Chairs internal & external project team meetings, coordinates with all involved disciplines/departments as needed to successfully complete the project and company requirements/strategy.
• Keeps up to date on project status and evaluates status vs requirement, analyses project KPIs. Mitigates/adjusts strategy as needed.
• Ensures together with the project team that project risks, issues and opportunities are identified and managed.

Close phase

• Ensures compliance to contract specifications.
• Delivers and closes out the project
• Documents and transfers of project and knowledge & lessons learned.

Requirements:

• Experience:     Minimum 5 years relevant experience in multidisciplinary technical projects in the maritime / offshore business, machinery or oil and gas industry
• Language: Good language skills (oral & verbal) in Mandarin & English.
• Computer: Good skills with Microsoft Office
• Certificate: PmBok or comparable preferred
• Others:     Good managerial capacities, power of persuasion, helicopter view without loosing sight of details, motivator, powerful self-assured personality, pro-active, energetic and with a flexible approach
